PES plastic characteristics:
◎ Heat resistance: The thermal deformation temperature is between 200-220 ℃, the continuous use temperature is between 180-200 ℃, and the UL temperature index is 180 ℃.
◎ Hydrolysis resistance: It can withstand hot water or steam at 150-160 ℃, and is not corroded by acid or alkali at high temperatures.
◎ Temperature dependence of modulus: Its modulus remains almost unchanged from -100 ℃ to 200 ℃, especially better than any thermoplastic resin above 100 ℃.
◎ Creep resistance: Within the temperature range below 180 ℃, its creep resistance is excellent among thermoplastic resins, especially glass fiber reinforced PES resin, which is even better than some thermosetting resins.
◎ Dimensional stability: Its characteristics include a small coefficient of linear expansion and low temperature reliability. The characteristic is 30% glass fiber reinforced PES resin, with a linear expansion coefficient of only 2.3 × 10-5/℃, and it can still maintain a value similar to aluminum up to 200 ℃.
◎ Impact resistance: It has the same impact resistance as PC. Unreinforced resin can be riveted, but for sharp and thin ones


PES plastic application field
PES Electrical and Electronic Field:
PES is used as an H-grade insulation material in the fields of electronics and electrical appliances, taking advantage of its solder resistance, good dimensional stability, resistance to various cleaning agents, ability to embed metal parts, and good adhesion with epoxy resin. The main products that have been developed include coil frames, potentiometer housings and bases, hair dryer parts, printed circuit boards, button switches, insulators for thyristors, insulators for electric tool motors, coil frames for printers, blowers, relays, DIP switches, various types of connectors, etc. Extrusion molding can also be used to produce thin films of different thicknesses for various electronic devices and electrical products.
PES mechanical field:
Due to its high temperature creep resistance, dimensional stability, oil resistance, and good toughness, it has been widely used in places where general resins cannot meet the requirements for use. The main products that have been developed include levers, handles, brackets, observation glass for X-ray devices, insulators for chainsaws, agricultural machinery engines, and vaporizers, piston rings, heat-resistant ball bearings, gears, copier parts, camera parts, projector parts, industrial hair dryer covers, automotive air conditioning parts, arc welding handles, various analytical instrument components, etc.


PES hot water field:
Mainly utilizing its excellent creep resistance, rigidity, and dimensional stability in hot water or steam at 160 ℃. The main products developed include valves for hot water and steam, insulators for corrosion-resistant electricity, components for temperature sensors, pump bodies and impellers for various liquid and powder pumps, radiator valves, components for ultrafiltration devices, etc.

PES coating:
Due to its good adhesion to metals such as iron and lead, as well as high surface hardness of coatings, PES polyether sulfone and polytetrafluoroethylene can be formulated into non stick coatings with excellent corrosion resistance, radiation resistance, insulation performance, flame retardancy, and excellent adhesion to metals, as well as low friction characteristics. Widely used in industries such as kitchen utensils, household appliances, light industrial hardware, industrial molds, plastic machinery, etc.
In addition, PES can be processed into ultrafine powder for powder spraying and liquid coatings.
